The Apex Hotel chain had a requirement for a London based premises at the heart of the city. The chosen location was at Seething Lane close to the Tower of London.

The hotel consisted of 120 luxury bedrooms, executive boardrooms, bars and reception. Trescray’s scope was to provide a fully functional integrated SMATV system and voice and data network throughout the whole of the building.

This included multiple distribution amplifier units across the floors emanating from the main communications rooms enclosures and roof mounted satellite dishes. The voice and data consisted of 2000 Cat 6 outlets within the bedrooms, boardrooms and offices plus a vertical backbone of voice CW1308 and fibre optical cabling. Trescray worked closely with the fit out teams to help deliver this project smoothly and on time.
